Locals who have been here long enough might recall that LePlatt’s Pond was graciously opened to the public by the LePlatt family for generations. In 2009, the property was being so abused by guests that we were forced to close it to the public and begin hosting private events only. Hosting our community this summer during “Locals at LePlatt’s” is on a trial basis, and if all goes well, we hope to continue hosting each summer! Your respect of the property, rules and staff will be the deciding factor in its longevity. Our family is deeply grateful for your patronage!
