Loft at LePlatt's Suite

Located on the grounds of L-J Ranch in the Pine River Valley, home of LePlatt’s Pond wedding and event venue, LePlatt’s Loft suite is a most unique vacation rental, with luxury and comfort seamlessly melding with ranch activities, river fishing, plus weddings and events. This home is frequently booked by wedding parties as the bridal dressing suite, but it is also a popular home for all guests wanting to be in the Bayfield and Pine River Valley area.

The Loft is within a short scenic drive to the Vallecito Lake recreation area, a popular summertime location for boating, fishing, hiking, and more outdoor activities. Historic downtown Durango, the Durango Train, Mesa Verde National Park, and Purgatory Resort should be on the list of nearby experiences with just a bit of driving. Constructed in 1960 and revamped in 2020, with all new decor, furniture, and appliances, this warm and inviting interior is a jewel-like, man-made geode; humble on the outside but sparkling and brilliant on the inside. The loft home is designed for comfort, with an open floor plan, complete kitchen, one bath, and sleeps up to six people.

In front of the home is a deck with a grill, beverage cooler, and outdoor dining set, overlooking the river valley hay field of the ranch. Enjoy access to a long, picturesque section of the gorgeous Pine River while staying in this unique home. A large 10-acre pond provides ambiance and fishing.
